My point was that a grid control designed to BE a grid control is a  
powerful RAD tool when dealing with large amounts of data and  
database stuff. While it has many of the needed features, the basic  
design of the listbox being based around simple lists (thus  
essentially row oriented instead of cell oriented) does not cut it.

In addition it's lacking several of the UI features people associate  
with spreadsheets but are more generally useful. This includes as I  
said merging cells and freezing rows and columns for horizontal and  
vertical scrolling purposes.
