laptop to act as an FTP server, I can't seem to mount my Mac as an
FTP server on their file system, Samba4K is refusing to connect to
the Mac despite that it works from the PC...
The GUI is slow and unresponsible and clumsy too.
Basically, it sucks.

In sharing on the Mac turn on "FTP Access" and pay attention when
you turn it on
Use an FTP client on linux (command line or what ever) to connect
to that FTP on the Mac
I do this all the time from Windows and Linux
Will this FTP client actually load the Mac FTP files on the Linux
file system, though? So that all the normal apps that read and write
(like gcc) can see them?
And what is the name of this FTP command line I need to run?
I know the Mac side well, enabling FTP there is no problem... Its the
Linux side I'm shaky on.
