That's what the REALLockPictureDescriptionWithNativeType will tell
you, right? As it does on Linux (based on Björn's answer).
Apparently it does not on Windows, which means a bug report is
necessary to get it on the radar.
Not really a bug, more like design that did not make any sense which
was later fixed by having the 3 parameter one give ability to get it
without conversion.
The silliness of this all is that there is no consistency to this
when it works backwards on Windows. And if I only want to get a Width
of a picture for example then clearly no conversation is wanted.
Though if it gets changed or not I do not really mind, but if
something changes internally such as if using some CoreGraphics
structure then I want to get that one without any conversation. Most
of the PictureLibraries are absolutely speed critical where there is
no room for any unneeded conversion.
With that said then I also want to be able to create un-initialized
Picture object both in REALbasic and in Plugins (that is one where
all the pixels have not been initialized to white)
