I don't see how this could be resolved at this stage given that it is a
lookup by String value.

so for all Valentina users,
I will recommend NOT to use Vfield.Value as Variant.
We could expect that variant will require some payment for comfort.
But 100 times slow down is not acceptable IMHO.
At least you should avoid it in tight loops.
