what's our "verdict" on RB2008r4, as plugin developers?
My verdict is: RB2008r4 is broken as far as plugins goes. Some will
work, and any one plugin will work alone. But r4 breaks many plugin
combinations due to a memory corruption error. And until this bug is
fixed, we can't know for sure that a future plugin won't "conflict"
with yours.
That's my verdict. In a sentance: RB2008r4 is broken with respect to
plugins.
What's your verdict? Do you agree with mine?
I think it's useful because people on various list servers will be
asking questions and... it'll be useful for them to know what the
"plugins list consensus" about r4 and plugins is.
