This is a long-standing issue: subclassing a rect control from within
a plugin does not preserve the properties in the property pane. For
example, subclassing a TextArea control and changing the superclass of
a TextArea1 instance on Window1 will lead to a 32x32 black square
iconish TextArea1 instance, which only will have a left and top
property. You cannot change the size and other properties.
Anybody else has seen this when a rectControl is subclassed from
within the plugin?
