Now I have spends awful lot of time on this and I have no chance to narrow this or do anything this has never been broken before until in the newest REALbasic versions.
Issue here is if I add a node to a TreeView on Windows in the Open event. Note that I have disabled all code that calls redraw. Facts: * If I add node after open event then no issue. * If I add node in the open event - crash. (no repaint is called) * Things have always been fine in the past. Now I put Debug messages in every event of the control, as well as where the append node begins and ends. [2396] TreeView_Init [2396] TreeView_Open [2396] TreeView_InnerOpen <----- Just open event that is normally exposed to the REALbasic developer [2396] Begin TreeView_AppendNode [2396] End TreeView_AppendNode Crashes after this point, somewhere in REALbasic. No more events come no nothing. Note if this was called after the open event from say a button then all is well. As things are then I have zero chance at this and its completely broken on windows so I have no chance at supporting the newer versions of REALbasic at this point. -- ______________________________________________________________________ Björn Eiríksson [email protected] Einhugur Software http://www.einhugur.com/ ______________________________________________________________________ Einhugur Software has sold its products in 87 countries world wide. ______________________________________________________________________ For support: [email protected] To post on the maillist: [email protected] _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
