I am a young investor who owns several rental
properties, a couple pieces
of acrege and am always wanting to learn more
to advance myself in the real
estate world not only financially but also
educate myself in every aspect.
I am wanting to overload myself with
knowledge in the next six months. My
plan is to read beginner books
on all sorts of real estate subjects from
foreclosure, note buying, land
investment, short sales, rehabs, owner
financing, etc. I then plan to
see what opportunity suits my particular
situation at the time, seek out
more advice and training from someone who
has had success at that
particular type of investment and attack that
market as well as keep my
options open for future knowledge and investing
opportunities. The
one thing I have noticed is that most people find
something that suits them
and they become successful at it by focusing on
that particular market and
becoming very knowledgable on every aspect at
it. The also keep their
mind open to new ventures but always try and learn
everything they can
before they blindly 'go for it'. Not every investment
is a good one,
but I would like to make and very educated gamble every
time. So if
everyone out there could reply with a top ten most
knowledgable pieces of
literture on their bookshelf it would be greatly
appreciated. Thank
