Wal-Mart Supercenter Location Wal-Mart has purchased a 26-acre parcel to construct a new 203,000 square foot Supercenter at the southeast corner of Interstate Drive and North Prospect. Wal-Mart plans a mid 2005 opening. The Wal-Mart development includes four outlots on the north end of the center that are part of the Stamey Land available for sale. The lots have all storm water detention offsite creating a 100% usable lot, all utilities to site, and will be ready for development as soon as fall 2004. Prospect Avenue is being upgraded from Meijer Drive north to Interstate Drive and later north to Olympian Drive. Meijer Drive and Interstate Drive will also be signalized.
