I started the following new yahoo group for American property buyers & sellers for several reasons.
http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/American_Property_For_Sale/ I'd like to draw off property posts from where they currently get posted (which is to multiple groups) so that this group can get back to focused discussions. I hope it will become the sole group where people will look to buy and sell their American properties. The idea is to cut down on seeing the same properties listed in group after group after group. In addition, I for one am tired of wading through offers from India, Thailand, Dominican Republic and others. As most of the current group users seem to be interested in American properties, I hope that you'll agree with me. If you do, please join the new group. While segregating American property from other properties isn't going to prevent posts in the current groups, I hope that those who have an interest in other countries will start their own groups and limit their posts to those groups. I'm sure those people are tired of seeing purely American property that they have no interest in, and if we segregate the groups, this is a simple way to filter out what's not of interest. Not having to wade through what we don't want to see saves us time, and posting to only 1 group instead of many also saves the poster time. It's a win/win situation if everyone cooperates.
