Acessing embedded plugin within a DIV

Subject: Acessing embedded plugin within a DIV

Hi all,

I want to send some commands to an embedded player in one of my frames and
I've put the player inside of a <DIV> layer so I can hide it from view
until my users need it.

Now, I don't know how to send commands to it inside the layer.  I tried
document.name-of-the-div.name-of-the-embed but Netscape doesn't recognize
it.  Anybody know how to talk to an embedded player inside of a div?
