Subject: stereo & mono
Folks, is there a way to have a stereo audio source get encoded and served
as stereo and as mono simultaneously - and the enduser clicks one link to
get stereo or the other to get mono? Yes, yes, I know I can just use two
encoders on two boxes or even one box if I work at it...but I'm more
interested if there's a software "switch" or something that'll allow me to
do that on one encoder or something
Just because I'd like to give my listeners the option of getting stereo if
they have the bandwidth to afford it but not leave my modem listeners out
in the cold. Currently I just have it in mono and it works well but da
boss wants me to look into stereo.
