MS was smart enough to realize that site developers need to be able to test
their content in the deficiencies of the horrible WebTV browser, so they put
this out a while back. Seems to work pretty well, as far as emulating an
actual WebTV unit goes.
Unfortunately, AOL hasn't opened their eyes yet to this opportunity to make
it easier for developers in designing content around the deficiencies of
AOL's browser. They're just hurting their own subscribers by that decision!
BTW -- I got a contact back from an AOL tech that said an AOL emulator does
not exist. Maybe if developers hound them enough for it, they might just
wise up!
