Subject: bad behaviour from g2slta. on FreeBSD-2. Does anyone have any ideas?
I am having a problem with g2slta. and file sizes.
If I put only one file in the playlist of 170Mb, and start g2slta, it works
fine, and runs for 18 hours. However, if I put a list of files, say three
small files of about 300K each and the last one of 170Mb, the first three
play fine, and step to the next one. But when the last of the three play,
and it steps to the last big file, the 170Mb job, it wont play it. The
RealPlayer returns constant 'Net congestion' mesages, flashing all the
colours in the rainbow.
file one .... 275k plays file
file two .... 300k plays fine
file three .... 420k plays fine
file four .... 170M starts, but the player wont 'play' it. Constant 'Net
Congestion' errors show.
I also tried this.
file four 170M ( On its own. ) Starts and plays fine.
I also tried this.
file one. 50M starts and plays
file two 170M starts, but again, refuses to 'play' on the player...
I just tried this.
file one. 300k starts and plays
file two 50M starts, but wont play, player suffering from Net
Congestion...
There are no error messages in the logs, and the console output indicates
that all is well.... but its not.
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks
Robert
