Hum...we don't use g2stla, but we use the RealProducer SDK in our own
applications. I've encoded up to 75 live streams, G2 8kbs. The machine was
a dual 500mhz (memory isn't an issue). The OS is NT which seems to have to
limitations. For example, at 50 streams, we were using 15% of the CPU
(wow!). When I increased to 75 live streams, I expected 30%-35%
consumption. Not! CPU consumption went to 85%. I'm thinking this was the
NT network driver getting bogged down by the traffic and given the drivers
high interrupt, the machine just dedicated itself to the network.
Oh, the SDK doesn't use a sound card. If you use a sound card, you're max
streams is going to be pretty poor.

Subject: Concurrent Live Stream
I am a new comer, so may be this problem has asked before. I have try to
send multiple live streams from several RealProducer to a RealServer at
the same time. Does anyone know how many concurrent live streams(or
streams from g2STLA) source can a RealServer handle?
I have try to send 5 streams to a server at the same time, it seems OK.
But sometimes the connection lost with no reason. I used NT with Opsrey
100 at Producer side and run the server on Solaris.
