Subject: Text disappearing in RealText scrolling window

I have a RealText window in a SMIL presentation (video, text and pictures).
The text window is simply the transcript of the video, appearing almost word
by word in a scrolling window. The presentation is intended to be played
locally.

For example, the RealText window is defined as follow:
<window type="scrollingnews" width="160" height="318" duration="1359"
bgcolor="#555685" scrollrate="7"  bitrate="2000">

For no obvious reason, the text already printed in the window disappear
suddenly. This never happens at the same point.

I thought it could be a streaming problem, and I tried to increase the bit
rate of the presentation or play the RealText alone. It did nothing better.

Is it a known bug? Should I admit it as a limitation? Has anyone an idea?

Also, does anyone know if there is a command to stop the RealText window to
stop scrolling?

Any suggestion is welcome!

Thanks,

Sebastien Delgrande
