Subject: Bandwidth between encoder and server in live Surestream

Can someone tell me how to calculate the required bandwidth between encoder
and server when using Surestream? (NB I'm not talking about bandwidth
between server and player)

I need to do a remote (outside) broadcast, encoding my signal on-site and
sending it back to my server in Central London. I intend to get some ISDN
lines installed to do this but if I choose 28, 56 and Dual ISDN as my
Surestream codecs, how many ISDN channels will I need?

Is my bitrate total just 28 plus 56 plus 128? Or - because of all the
intermediate bitrate streams - is it some other figure?

Help would be much appreciated.

[ RF: Easiest thing to do is consult the "Bitrate to server" field under
View->Statistics in the RealProducer. We also recommend allowing for
overhead by increasing by 15%-20%. ]

Regards,
David
