Subject: hiding an embedded video

     I went through the archives and all I could find remotely pertaining to
this was a suggestion to use layers. So I tried:

<ilayer id=layer1>
         <embed name="cat" src="cd.rpm" width=160 height=120
controls=ImageWindow autostart=true console=Clip1>
</ilayer>
<script language="javascript">
         do
         {
         }while(document.cat.GetPlayState()!=0);
         document.layer1.visibility="hide"
</script>

I know the code is somewhat gross and I intended to finetune it eventually
but I just wanted to verify if the principle worked. And I cant say. The
javascript error message I get is that cat has no properties. There's
probably something I dont understand about the GetPlayState() function. Can
someone enlighten me?
