Subject: Gateway Solo 9300 Advice?
Has anyone tried using the new Gateway Solo 9300 laptop for mobile encoding
with RealProducer? It has lots of great video-friendly features, including
composite and Y-C in/out, IEEE 1394, 48 bit stereo in/out, a fabulous 16"
display, a 650 mz. PIII, 18 gig ATA hard drive, deep PCMCIA slots, etc. but
it uses the ATI video capture circuitry. Is this compatible with
RealProducer?
I'm looking for a laptop for use in mobile RealProducer encoding for live
broadcasts. Thanks to anyone who can advise me about this unit or any other
compatible laptops they can recommend.
