Subject: laptops, USB ports, FIREWIRE ports
Hello all
I am enquiring about using you USB or FIREWIRE port for doing live
events using real producer?
I have seen some products lately that use the USB port to pass video
into the PC. I know that you can capture video through a USB port
with a webcam, and some can work with Real Nettworks software, but
what are the limitations.
Can you capture video for live events or archived events via the
fireware? If so where can I see some documentation on this.
My final question is about how durable are laptops when using them
for live events? Where can I find documentation on the use of
Laptops for doing live broadcasts? What is the best laptop?
I have broadcasted events on a laptop in the past but only audio, not
video.
