Regarding my earlier (and related) post regarding hosting on hostmonster, there's two aspects to the solution.
1)a)Install rebol in a local directory, in my case I made my own local `bin' and put the rebol binary there. 1)b)Resolve path to the rebol binary. According to techs, the absolute path is that which is displayed in the file manager. I.E., no remapping. (Now another issue raises its homely head) 2)The *correct* rebol version. Well, there is no rebol core 2 for the Cent OS linux operating system. My best guess is to use the version for Linux x86 Fedora. See http://www.rebol.com/download-core.html and oh my gosh - there is no version for ubuntu! The most popular linux for the workstation! Tsk! Tsk! Actually I use the Linux x86 Libc6 on ubuntu, but I believe some notes at the download page are in order. All these linuxes, it's enuff to make me go back to windows. Not! cheers -- Tim tim at johnsons-web.com or akwebsoft.com http://www.akwebsoft.com -- To unsubscribe from the list, just send an email to lists at rebol.com with unsubscribe as the subject.
