It looks great, nice graphics.

One minor point on the look. Western backgammon boards have alternate colors 
for the points. It was strangely disconcerting playing with all the points one 
color. I think mediterranean boards have all 24 points one color, but not 
western ones.

But I sorry to report the play is very weak. I gammoned it five times out of 
five. It made some very basic strategy mistakes at the beginning.

If course, it is not trivial to produce a backgammon game that does play 
well. All the top games (Gnu Backgammon, Snowie, Jellyfish) have highly trained 
neural networks for most plays, plus highly tuned algorithms for cube and match 
play, and megabtyes of bear-off database for the endgame.

Perhaps you could develop it as a FIBS client (www.fibs.com).  FIBS clients 
are basically GUI interfaces to a Telnet dialog. And most of them are not very 
good.

Nice to see all the other games you have.
