Dear REBOLers XpackerX 0.3 is released.
http://www.marmaladefoo.com/docs/software/xpackerx/introduction XpackerX is a simple freeware deployment system for script-based applications on Microsoft Windows. The XpackerX Editor and integrated compiler allows the creation of standalone executables. It is ideal for deploying standalone script based applications based on REBOL (somewhat similar in purpose to REBOL/encap but is free). Examples supplied also include use of Perl and Python based applications. When the user runs the application, the files are extracted into a temporary folder and then a specified command line is run. When the application specified in the defined command line is exited, all files that were extracted are removed so that the user's file system can be left as it was found. ===Changes in this version Version 0.3 of XPackerX includes the following changes from the previous version (0.2.10): - User selectable application icons for each built application. - Improved user interface including XML syntax highlighting for loaded project files. - No usage statistics are collected. - No mandatory splash screen in created executables - Various minor bug fixes.
