I am trying to add an edit to the menu in rebol/veiw. It is my understanding that adding to the services.r file will give you new functions(services) across the top. I'm all for using shortcuts, but I really would like to have a way to invoke the editor from a set of menus or functions or services or what ever you want to call them.
Now to my question. Is there anyway to invoke the editor using a command and placing that in the services.r file? Quite possibly, I should put the Control-Shift E character in the text file to invoke it through the shortcut. I'm now sure if that maps to an ASCII character or not that I can put into a text file. Has anybody seen this problem, or run across it and solved it? Please let me know if you have. It maybe a newbie question, but I'm learning more everyday, and I appreciate having a group of like-minded people to give me help without judging me a moron. David B.
