I queried my domain hoster, who IMHO is probably better informed than I in both issues of security and programming languages in general regarding whether there would be any value in my learning PHP. He said=20 "PHP has ongoing security issues."=20 I'm not informed as to what the issues are, rebol and python work just fine for me. While perusing http://www.newlisp.org/ I noted that somewhere in that website was some newlisp script that disabled any function calls that provided security issues.
