Hi list,

We have to load locally big files which are placed on a distant server.
When this file is loaded locally, we have to use those data.
We use a simple 'load for this. But, because of the poor performance of
the network, the file often comes corrupted, which causes errors.

My questions are:
- do the functions 'read-thru and 'load-thru make sure the loaded (read)
file comes in a safe way (un-corrupted) ?
- is there another method (other than working with checksum) which can
solve this issue ?

TIA,

---Christophe
