Try setting $RD_TRACE=1 in the script and redirecting STDOUT and STDERR of the script's output to a file and read through it several times. It's verbose, and will explain what P::RD is doing and why your grammar behaves as it does. For a hint, read the GOTCHA section of the P::RD manpage. Good luck, Colin Kuskie
