Cranberry Cookies In A Jar
5/8 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
1. Layer the ingredients in a 1 quart or 1 liter jar, in the order
listed. Attach a tag with the following instructions:
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a cookie sheet
or line with parchment paper.
3. In a medium bowl, cream together : 1/2 cup butter or margarine,
softened, 1 egg, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla until fluffy. Add the entire
jar of ingredients and mix together by hand until well blended. Drop by
heaping spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 8 to 10
minutes, until edges start to brown. Cool on baking sheets or remove to
cool on wire racks.
Makes 18 cookies
===============                                Applesauce In A Jar
Cookies
1 cup brown sugar
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup raisins
3/4 cup chopped nuts
Combine flour, salt, cinnamon and baking soda; stir well. Place flour
mixture in a clean mason jar. Pack down tight. Add other ingredients,
one item at a time, packing each layer down. Put the lid on the jar and
tie a ribbon around the lid. Print out the following instructions on a
gift card and tape the card to the jar:

Whip 3/4 cup of butter or shortening until light and fluffy. Add 1 egg
and 1/2 cup applesauce and beat until mixed. Stir in the ingredients
from this jar until well combined. Drop teaspoons of dough on a greased
cookie sheet. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes at 350F.

Munchin' Mix in a Jar
1/3 cup bite-size pretzel goldfish crackers
1/3 cup bite-size corn squares
cereal
1/3 cup sesame sticks
1/3 cup bite-size original goldfish
crackers
1/3 cup cocktail peanuts
Layer ingredients into pint jar in the order listed.

Mix:
1 pint jar Gone Fishin' Munchin' Mix
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
3/4 teaspoon powdered BBQ seasoning
Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
Empty contents of pint jar into a medium bowl, stirring to combine.
Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce and BBQ seasoning.
Pour butter mixture over snack mixture.
Stir to evenly coat snack mixture.
Spread coated snack mixture in a single layer on a 9-inch x 13-inch
baking pan.
Bake at 250 F for 45 minutes, stirring mixture every 15 minutes.
When baking is complete, remove pan from oven and spread mixture in a
single layer on paper towel to cool.
Store in an airtight container.
Makes about: 1 2/3 cups snack mix.
============================              Mocha Chocolate Chip Cookies
in a Jar
Ingredients for Jar:
3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
2 TBSP instant coffee
1-3/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions for Jar:
Place brown sugar in a 1-quart wide mouth jar and press down
firmly and evenly.
Pour sugar on top and smooth over.
In medium bowl, combine cocoa, coffee, flour, baking soda, baking
powder and salt. Stir well until evenly colored. Spoon flour mixture
into jar in several additions, pressing down with each addition.
When entire mixture has been added, smooth over top.
Gently sprinkle chocolate chips on top of flour mixture and press
down firmly.
Place lid on jar and attach Instructions for Baking.
Instructions for Baking:
1 jar Mocha Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 350. Empty contents of jar into a large bowl.
Add butter or margarine, egg and vanilla.
Beat on low speed to blend.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased (or parchment lined)
cookie sheets. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven
and let cookies cool on cookie sheets for 1 minute, then transfer to
cooling racks.
Makes 3 to 3-1/2 do zen

Mix
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 TBSP baking powder
1 tsp. salt
4 oz.(1/2 cup) flaked coconut, toasted
Layer the above ingredients into a bag or a jar and attach the
following directions:
Pina Colada Muffins
1 jar pina colada muffin mix
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup oil
4 TBSP butter or margarine, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 cup crushed pineapple (in its own juice)
Heat oven to 350. Empty contents of jar mix into a large bowl and
mix together. Blend in eggs, milk, oil, butter, and vanilla. Mix
well. Stir in pineapple and mix well. Spoon into a 12-unit muffin
pan and bake for about 30 minutes.
===============================    Chocolate Chip Pie Mix
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
6-oz. (1 cup) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup flaked coconut
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Blend together the sugar and flour; place in a plastic ziplock sandwich
bag. Seal bag and tie closed with a festive ribbon and tag that says
"dry ingredients". Combine chocolate chips, coconut and pecans in a
second plastic ziplock sandwich bag and label "chocolate packet". Tuck
both bags in a holiday gift bag or decorated box. Add the following
instructions:
Chocolate Chip Pie
Chocolate Chip Pie Mix
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 eggs
1 9" pie shell (unbaked)
Combine the 1/4 cup melted butter with the "dry ingredients" package.
Add 2 eggs and stir until dry ingredients are just moistened. Blend in
the chocolate packet, then spoon mixture into the 9-inch unbaked pie
crust. Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes.

Chocolate Graham Cookie Mix in a Jar
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 package M&M® mini-baking bits (either milk chocolate or semi-
sweet)
1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
Canning jar
Combine flour, baking soda and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside.
Evenly layer the ingredients in a 1-quart mason jar making sure to
pack each layer down as you go. Layer the ingredients in the following
order, bottom to top: brown sugar, granulated sugar, flour mixture,
graham cracker crumbs and M&M's®.
Wipe the lip of the jar and secure the lid on tightly.
Attach the following instructions:
Chocolate Graham Cookies
1 jar chocolate graham cookie mix1 1/2 sticks (3/4 cup) of unsalted
butter, softened
1 egg
2 Tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions: Preheat the oven to 350°. Lightly grease 2 baking sheets.
Using an electric mixer, cream the butter, egg, milk and vanilla at high
speed. Stir in the contents of the jar, until combined. Drop by heaping
Tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8 to 9 minutes until set
(do not overbake). Enjoy!

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup dried cranberries
1 T. grated lemon peel
3/4 t. baking soda
3/4 t. salt
Layer ingredients attractively in any order into 1-quart food
storage jar with tight-fitting lid. Pack ingredients down slightly
before adding another layer.
Cover top of jar with fabric; attach gift tag with raffia or ribbon.
Makes
one 1-quart jar.
On tag:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup thawed frozen lemonade concentrate
1 egg
1 jar Tangy Lemonade Bars Mix
Preheat oven to 375° F. Lightly grease 13 x 9 - inch baking pan.
Beat butter in large bowl until smooth. Beat in lemonade
concentrate and egg until blended. (Mixture may appear curdled.)
Add bar cookie mix to butter mixture; stir until well blended.
Press dough evenly in prepared pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or
until golden.
Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.

Makes 2 1/2 dozen bars

aJar                                    TANGY COOKIE MIX
1/2 cup Tang Instant Breakfast Drink--powder
3/4 cup sugar
1-1/2 cups vanilla chips
1-3/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Mix flour, baking soda and baking powder. Layer ingredients in a
wide mouth 1 qt. mason jar in order given. Press each layer firmly
in place before adding the next ingredient. Attach recipe to jar:
TANGY COOKIES
1 jar Tangy Cookie Mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Empty cookie mix in a large mixing bowl; stir to combine. Add the
butter, egg and vanilla. Mix until completely blended. Roll into 1"
to 2" balls. Place 2 inches apart on a lighlty greased baking sheets
(or us parchment paper). Bake at 375 for 12 minutes or until tops
are very lightly browned. Cool for 5 minutes on cookie sheets.
Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
