Crockpot Candied Banana Dessert

Bananas are slow cooked with a spiced coconut and corn syrup mixture, for an
easy and fabulous dessert.
INGREDIENTS:

   - 6 ripe but firm bananas, peeled
   - 1/2 cup flaked coconut
   - 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
   - 1/4 tsp salt
   - 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
   - 1/4 cup butter, melted
   - 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
   - 3 to 4 tablespoons lemon juice (1 medium lemon)

PREPARATION:

Arrange peeled bananas in the bottom of crockpot; sprinkle with coconut,
cinnamon, and the salt.

Combine dark corn syrup, butter, lemon peel and juice; pour over banana
layer.

Cover and cook on LOW for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
