I could make this for gifts but what would I mix it up in? I don't have a
bowl that big. (Smile)

Bake Sale Pumpkin Bread

12 cps sugar
4 cps oil or margarine

16 eggs
4, (16 ounce cans pure solid-packed pumpkin

14 cps self-rising flour
2tbs plus 2tsps baking soda
2tbs plus 2tsps salt
4tsps baking powder
4tsps nutmeg
4tsps Allspice
4tsps cinnamon
2 2/3 cps water

Grease and flour 9 8 by 5 inch loaf pans.

In a large bowl, cream together the sugar and oil. Add eggs and pumpkin
and mix well.

In a separate large bowl, sift together all the dry ingredients.

Add alternately with the water to the creamed mixture.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pans.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for one hour and 30 minutes. Let stand ten
minutes.

Makes 9 loaves of bread. This is nice for bake sales and for gifts.

Enjoy.
