Subject: [RecipesAndMore] Note From Janet

We had death in our family last Tues afternoon. My sister's husband who lives
in Maryland. He died real sudden after he came home from work. She still had
her daycare kids there when she found him. It was an awful day for everyone!
They think it was his heart, he was 46. The funeral was yesterday at 12:30. I
feel so bad for her and the kids having to go through this right now. The
youngest is 6 and he didn't really understand. I hurt so bad for them.
Ashlee is doing alot better today. Yesterday when we got home with her. We were
put thru one hell of a scare. She hadn't had anything to eat or drink since
Sunday night. We got home yesterday with her around 1pm. She had been sleeping
most of the way back. When she got out of the van and was standing in the
kitchen I turned to put her meds in the refrigerator and BOOM I turned around
and she was flat on the floor, not moving and her eyes rolled in the back of
her head !! I screamed to Tim and was screaming her name. I thought at first
she was gonna Seize on me. She was stiff as a board. She was out for about 10
seconds. She hit her head hard on the floor but thank God she didn't hit
anything on the way down. I called back to Iowa City and told her Doc what had
happen, She was awake by that time but was scared as much as we were. They said
since she had nothing to in system and that the anastics (SP?) were still
strong in her body thats what caused her to pass out. He said
get her to drinking some juice that has some sugar in it. Once she started
drinking and getting some soup in her she was fine, but I watched her like a
hawk the rest of the day. Damn scared us bad. At first I thought the meds they
gave her, she was allergic to. So far we don't know if she is allergic to
anything. But like I said once she got to drinking the juice and soup she got
better. We found out too that when she goes in Aug.6th that after the bone
graft. She can not have anything but liquids for a Month!! My gosh she is skin
and bones now!!! Not looking forward to this next one at all!
Well thats all the news from me. I am sorry I have not been on here much,,
just too busy right now with Ashlee and more. After school is done I'll have
more time to visit with ya'll then.
