Frosted Banana Bars

2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. low fat sour cream
2 tbsp soft margerin
2 egg whites or 1/4 cup egg substitute
3/4 c. very ripe mashed bananas - 2 medium
1 tsp vanilla
1 c. all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp finely chopped walnuts
Spray 9 x 9 pan.

        Beat sugar, sour cream, margerin and egg whites in large bowl at low
speed one minute. Scrape bowl occasionally. Beat in banana and vanilla
on low speed 30 seconds. Beat in flour, salt and baking soda on medium
speed one minute scraping bowl occasionally. Stir in nuts and spread
in pan.

        Bake at dg375 20-25 minutes.

        Cool, spread with frosting.

Frosting

1-1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp margerin
1-2 tbsp skim milk
1/2 tsp vanilla

        Mix all ingredients until smooth.
