Here is a thought:
Shipping stuff to GI's overseas

Cookies, bars, and brownies seem to make the trip okay. What

you do is

take a box and insert a plastic bag which will fit the entire

area

inside the box (like a small trash bag). Put a layer of popped

popcorn

in the bottom, and then put your cookies and other goodies in

individual

zip lock bags, and nest them in the popcorn. Fill the rest of

the box

with popcorn so it is entirely full and nothing inside will

shift, then

tie the bag shut, and seal the box. The popcorn will absorb

most of

the shock encountered during shipping. When your GI gets their

"care

package," he or she will have the cookies and goodies to eat,

plus the

popcorn to munch on (buttering and seasoning it is nice)!

Good luck.

When we are grateful for the good we already have,
we attract more good into our life.
On the other hand, when we are ungrateful, we tend to shut ourselves off from
the good we might otherwise experience.
