TEMPTATION'S CREAM OF WILD RICE SOUP
   2 tablespoons butter or margarine
   1 cup onion - chopped
   1 1/2 tablespoon flour
   2 cups water
   2 cups chicken broth
   2 cups milk
   1 pack uncle ben's fast-cooking long grain and wild rice (6-1/4 ounce)
   1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves - crushed
   Melt
 butter in 3-quart saucepan. Add onion and cook until tender. Stir in flour. 
Gradually
stir in water, broth and milk. Add contents of rice and seasoning packets and 
thyme;
stir. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring 
occasionally.  Enjoy.
