Once again, I received a form letter in response to my queries on price
policing under the GST. This time it was from Allison Lyn.
Just in case anyone's interested, here was my reply:
"Dear Allison,
I'm sorry, but while I can excuse pro-rata responses that answer the
question asked, I cannot excuse those that don't. I asked a question
regarding the policing (or the lack thereof) of prices under a GST, and the
government's backdown on its promises to assume this responsibility. I
would very much appreciate an answer to my question. If you have a pro-rata
response that does answer this question (and not the same one you've been
using for weeks), then I would be happy to read it. I think the people that
voted for you deserve their emails to be at least read!"
