* WA fossils 'clue to early life on earth'* - Scientists in Western Australia
have found what they describe as the most convincing evidence yet of life on
earth three-and-a-half billion years ago. The fossil stromatolites have been
handed over to the Western Australian Museum. The stromatolites were discovred
two years ago but geologists have kept the find under wraps until they were
sure of its significance. A team from the Western Australian Department of
Minerals and Energy made the discovery near Marble Bar in the Pilbara. They
claim the structures are the most convincing evidence yet of ancient life. The
find has excited scientists both in Austrlia and overseas. The stromatolites
were presented to the WA Museum this morning.

who exactly presented them to the wa museum - there should be returns not more
deposits !!
a woman 'found' them, not a team of scientists - within 24 hours of the boys
spotting them - they were gone - the speed with which this rape was conducted
astounds me
video images of white people systematically removing this formation, in pieces,
from the face of the earth and in such a hurry - and of so many hands going
into their own little dilly bags, and only big bits going to the museum - put
it all back - the context is as important as the actual material
no wonder indig peoples don't trust westerners - the scientific eye does indeed
destroy all it gazes at
