What does it out put when you say:

java -version

If that errors out then your JAVA_HOME is not set up correctly.

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/opt/server/red5> /usr/lib/jvm/java/bin/java -Xmx64m -version
java version "1.5.0_03"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_03-b07)
Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 1.5.0_03-b07, mixed mode)


any idee how to fix that problem??
