Sorry, I was busy implementing the SO event handlers ;) I don't know if it's possible to lock a SO from the client side but on the server you can use the "beginUpdate" / "endUpdate" methods to lock a shared object. After the first client called "beginUpdate", the SO is locked for other clients calling "beginUpdate" until the first client called "endUpdate". Joachim
