Hi there, im still trying to work out exactly what
the bandwidth configurer actually does, does this mechanism help shape
a client stream which can be dynamically set depending on what their
bandwidth is ? If so how do i calculate the bandwidth ive seen dummy
methods for flv player support but no actual working method. So if a
client has a 256k connection and i set the bandwidth to 256k or below,
it will shape the stream, so it limits the upload video data stream so
the end user's client has some time to catch up downloading the stream
and has enough time in the buffer. Is this the idea ? If so id be keen on working out dynamically setting these options on a stream. |
