I develop on Windows 2000 and XP, had no real problems so far. We use Red5 (semi-)productive on Debian and Ubuntu here at the office.
Does red5 perform better under Fedora?
Network servers like Red5 usually perform better on any Linux platform than on Windows. Joachim
