hi i have the same problem and until now the only solution i found was to use stunnel configuring it not for rtmps but for https i mean making the tunnel from port 5080 to 443 and accessing the application through an internet browser in this case even the flash application will be in ssl. probably it works even the tunnel from port 1935 to the rtmps port the problem in this case must be in a "bug" in the flash player (as in http://weblogs.macromedia.com/flashteam/archives/2006/08/feature_request_2.cfm) and as i don't have a good certificate to make trials for the moment it remains undecided to me i haven't found anything about rtmps support in red5 if you have links please post them greetings antonio
