Dan, Hmm, not sure about Jetty as I have never really used it.
It has been around a long time so I am assuming it's a stable platform. But if you would like to build a Tomcat RED5 app, I will be glad to send you instructions what I have done with this platform so you can give it a go. How do you have your Windows 2003 servers configured? Do you have IIS turned on? If so, and you are not using IIS, then this could be drag on your CPU load. The first thing I do on a windows server installation is remove all Microsoft native IIS, FTP, pop3, smtp, etc. if I have a choice. : ) A lot of times I will use a stripped down version of XP Pro as my server Container with Tomcat and Apache as my web servers.
