Hello all, First, congratulations on release of 0.6 final!
Second, we're starting to write a client for publishing video/audio to Red5 (not Actionscript in a Flash Player movie, something in Java or C++). We have looked at the SimpleClient.java and the RTMP documentation at http://osflash.org/documentation/rtmp#fn__1. I'm wondering if there is any other documentation or if anyone has anything started that we might be able to use as a springboard? The concept is to build a simple, single function application (either standalone C++ app or a Java class) that will take video from a device (firewire or USB) and publish a stream to a red5 server. Just like using Flash Player, except without the Flash Player. Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated.
