Community: I just got back from the FITC conference. I just wanted to post to the list and let you guys know what a wonderful job your all doing. The conference was amazing and the presentations by John and Chris were very well taken. John and Chris started off the conference with a rocking ensemble. You got Chris up there jazzin it up with his trombone to a midi multiple track recorder and John rocking out with his wii drums. After that John rocked out with his guitar as the notes lit up across the papervision fret board. It was really cool. Sean, the promoter actually came in to let them know that it was too loud, but at that point there was no stopping John... people were clapping along and John went into a harmonics solo. Very cool perfomance indeed, and I wish you all could have been there to experience it. Pretty much everyone I spoke to was interested in the Red5 project and how their company could benefit from the server. Additionally I assisted in Chris's presentation by creating a new example in Flex2 that connects to Red5, streams live video and has a simple chat. It's a bare bones example but the code should be helpful to some starting out or who are just looking for new ways to build their apps. Also, Chris has a pretty neat way to set up a red5 development environment which he can hopefully get out there for others to benefit from. So, anyway I guess the videos will be up shortly. -- Dominick Accattato, CTO Infrared5 Inc. www.infrared5.com <http://www.newviewnetworks.com> _______________________________________________ Red5 mailing list [email protected] http://osflash.org/mailman/listinfo/red5_osflash.org
