I am following up my post about how one can best deliver data files from server to client: > Keen to know what would be a simple recommended method for transferring data configuration files (text and binary) from Red5 server to Flash client. Aware that could > use SharedObject but wondering if there is another more straightforward way to do this. For example could the FileProvider be used and if so how do you tap into from a > client? I really want to know if I should be considering something other than rtmp for achieving this. If that is the case then I will have to manage an additional protocol for my application.
