We're running 0.6rc2 standalone (have to update, I guess). The operating system is windows 2000. At the time I was doing the Red5 stuff, it didn't run on our UNIX servers without lots of memory use. I think now it will run better, but for now the Red5 is on windows and the website on unix, To prevent lots of bandwidth costs we coupled the system with Amazon S3. So if a stream has been recorded, we push it from the Red5 server to Amazon S3, and we take it from there as a progressive downloading flv. If there is any animo I will write a tutorial about it on our dev blog.
For now we are streaming 4 files from 1 location. Does anyone know if it is possible to merge this 4 streams to one stream? Did some research, but it isn't easy I guess... Hope there is some FLV master around here with some good advice..
