Hi Sh, I do not think you did anything wrong. As a matter of fact, those pages with scary looking "Page ID[xxx]" are actually pretty solid imported pages.
And if you locate it in SmarTree and either preview it or SmartEdit it, it becomes normal with the headline title again. Thats normally what happens to me. I have not come across with an import instance where the page really does not exist. Its hard to have a ready answer for the "why"s in RedDot. I don't know why but it could be that there are unlinked pages that have the same id in your project? (but different GUID.) I will leave that to someone who actually has done research.
