I've got CMS version 7.1 and I'm trying to add on PDF generation. Here's where I am so far:
1I've created the PDF project variant Name:PDF Template: assigned Convert to PDF: Checked Format: US Letter I have a "Standard Article " content class and have creted a PDF variant and assigned the PD project variant to the template. I've done the same for the "foundation" content class that surrounds my "Standard Article." I have a anc_link in the "Standard Article" template that does a variant change and is set ti file path; and when I puyblish out, I do get a http://.../whatever.pdf. BUt the link itself is dead and there are not produced PDFs on the server side. Now, if I do a "Page Preview" and click on that same link, I can get a PDF of that page. What gives? Where did I go wrong?
