Actually the license is tied to the account. If your account has
SmartTree module access, then you are using a license no matter what
part of CMS you are currently using (this includes SmartEdit). We have
gone so far as to create ourselves a second account that does not have
SmartTree access so that we can use SmartEdit without using up an
administrator license.

A SmartTree user is an administrator as far as the license goes and it
should be applicable to concurrent users. This includes if one user has
multiple logins at the same time.

The second that user drops out to SmartEdit, the SmartTree license
becomes available to another admin user.

I was always under the impression that our license was restricted to a
number of administrators concurrently logged in; now it appears that
it's restricted to the number of people using SmartTree concurrently.
Can anyone confirm how this works, e.g.

1. Is the restriction actually "number of people who have access to
SmartTree and are concurrently logged in, whether they're actually
using ST or not"?

2. Is there a 'buffer' during which the license remains in use? E.g.
if I click on SmartTree, then on SmartEdit immediately, do I keep hold
of a license for a certain amount of time (10 minutes? 1 hour? ...)
and prevent others from using ST?
