We have made the jump from 7.5 to 10 and it has actually been a pretty
smooth experience. My users actually love the new interface though
some are confused by the search. There is as mentioned an
occasional .net error especially when creating a new page but a
refresh does the trick.
With regards to CSS. We did run into an issue which sounds like what
you may have run into ArryD, I contacted reddot dupport and they
pointed me to a simple solution all you have to do is add a dummy
style declaration with no attributes as the first line of your css and
all is well with the world. It makes no sense but works. So the first
line of my css is
test{}
Also, I am running JQuery in the CMS with no problems that I can see.
Haven't tried any other frameworks.
I would say that if you are starting a new project now, there is no
reason to not use 10.
